I cannot rave about Yanet enough. Her in-house yoga service and class was the perfect addition to our bachelorette weekend. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients! Her yoga practice was fun and relaxing (especially the partner work!) and she is an expert at setting the perfect vibe. Yanet goes above and beyond with curating the yoga experience too; she brought hibiscus infusion water, lemon & mint water, & artisanal essential oils from Mexico that elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Yanet, is awesome! She really helped me with relieving the stress in my joints and muscle aches from weight lifting and some past injuries. She also helped me focusing on my breathing which reduced my stress and cleared my mind. Thank you Yanet

“These gatherings are created as a space to slow down and reconnect—to breath, to body, and to each other.

Altura House Sessions are about presence, simplicity, and the shared experience of returning to ourselves in community.”

A woman with long, wavy dark hair, wearing a nose ring, looks at the camera with a slight smile, resting her hand on her face. She has a tattoo on her arm with Arabic script. The background shows a shelf with small plants and decorative items, and a colorful painting on the wall.

As a guide, multidisciplinary artist, and lifelong student, she invites others to move, feel, and connect more deeply with themselves and the world around them. With a deep love for ritual and rhythm, Yanet weaves yoga, music, and storytelling into experiences that are both grounding and expansive.

Yanet’s gentle yet powerful guidance invites you to unlock new possibilities within your body and spirit- and to move through life with greater freedom and compassion. Spanning urban life, ancestral traditions, and nomadic tendencies—has taught her that

home isn’t always a place, but a feeling found in community, connection with nature, intention, and presence.

Yanet García was born in Manhattan, but was raised in the North Fork and the vibrant heart of Puebla, Mexico. Yanet has learned to embrace and share her a cross-cultural life. As a first-generation Mexican-American, her journey has been deeply shaped by a love for culture, connection, and soulful expression.

Movement has always held a sense of refuge. Whether navigating life between two countries, studying in New York City, or traveling the world for work, family, and inspiration— cross borders and time zones, she’s found home in community, shared rituals, and the unexpected wisdom of everyday moments.

Her hobbies and interests include learning how to play the guitar, sew, learning about the human anatomy, herbal medicine / Chinese medicine, mixing music, mixing drinks, cooking, planting, advocating, sharing, and guiding sensory experiences.
